添い寝嫉妬

ぶりさんの添い寝に浮かれていると、はまちさんから嫉妬の眼差しが来ます。

When Buri sleeps beside me, I get so excited, but then I notice a jealous look from Hamachi.

添い寝

ぶりさんは一人で寝るのが好きなのでなかなか布団に来てくれないのですが、たま～に添い寝してくれると嬉しくて、うざ絡みしてしまう。

Buri likes to sleep alone, so he rarely comes to the futon. But when he does, I get so happy that I end up smothering him with affection.

猫と睡眠

猫にもレム睡眠、ノンレム睡眠があるみたいで、猫が寝ていると体勢や瞼の動きで観察してます。特にレム睡眠のときは睡眠を阻害しないようにしようっと。

It seems that cats also have REM and non-REM sleep, and I observe their posture and eyelid movements when they are sleeping. Especially during REM sleep, I try not to disturb their sleep.

連戦連敗

はまちさんは、ぶりさんに挑みに行っては毎回負けます。顔面に傷があるので逃げなかった勇気は認めるけど、目の怪我とか心配なのでやめてほしい～・・。

病院で処方された薬を常備してます。

Hamachi often goes to challenge Buri but loses every time. I admire his courage for not running away, as he has scratches on his face, but I really wish he’d stop, since I worry about eye injuries… I always keep the medication prescribed by the vet on hand.

つきまとい猫

はまちさんのつきまといが度を越してきている・・・。わたしが移動するとついてくる。嬉しいんだけど、猫ってこんなだっけ？と混乱する。
ちなみにこの絵日記更新している今もそばにいます。

Hamachi’s following me around is getting a bit excessive… He follows me whenever I move. I’m happy about it, but I find myself wondering, ‘Are cats usually like this?’ It’s confusing. By the way, even now, as I’m updating this diary, he’s right by my side.

人に見せられない写真

はまちさんのめっちゃかわいい寝姿の写真を取ったのだけど、パンツの上で寝てるので人に見せられない。（さっさとタンスにしまえって話なんですが・・・）

I took a cute photo of Hamachi sleeping, but since he’s sleeping on top of my underwear, I can’t show it to anyone. (I know, I should just put it away in the drawer right away…)

防災グッズ保管に無印のコンテナが良いときき、買いましたが猫が気にいっちゃってまだ使えてません。災害来ないといいけど・・・。

I heard that Muji containers are great for storing emergency supplies, so I bought one, but my cat has taken a liking to it, and I haven’t been able to use it yet. I just hope no disaster strikes…
