ぶりさんの体調が悪く毎週のように通院してます。そして薬をあげないといけないのですが、ぶりさんは薬の気配を感じるとすぐクローゼットの奥に逃げ込んでしまいます。最近編み出した方法は、自分でも薬の存在を忘れるほど無心になり、ぶりさんが油断したらつかまえて薬を飲んでもらうことです。
Buri hasn’t been feeling well, so I’ve been taking him to the vet almost every week. I also have to give him medicine, but the moment he senses it, he darts to the back of the closet to hide. My latest strategy is to clear my mind completely, as if I’ve forgotten about the medicine myself, and then catch him when he lets his guard down. That’s when I manage to get him to take it.

年明けにお世話になった人の訃報を知りまして、3連休何も手につかず最終日の相撲観戦がなかったらだいぶ落ちてたと思います。生前「大腸カメラ検査は受けたほうがいいよ！」と自分の後悔から、アドバイスしてくれていたので今年は初めて受けたいと思います。

初生観戦
相撲ガチ勢のご近所友達が、大相撲初場所に誘ってくれましてはじめて生観戦をしてきました。なんと枡席でした！4人席なのですが、3名で観戦。ガチ勢の友達が解説もしてくれて初心者でも楽しめました！最近はなかなか予約取れないそうで、そんな貴重な観戦に誘ってくれてありがとう！
A sumo-loving friend from my neighborhood invited me to a live sumo match, and it was my first time watching in person! To my surprise, we had masu box seats! It’s a four-person seat, but we watched with just three of us. My friend, being a true sumo enthusiast, gave detailed explanations, so even as a beginner, I had a great time. I’ve heard it’s really hard to get reservations these days, so I’m so thankful for being invited to such a special experience!

年末にまーちゃんちで忘年会したのですが、iPadも持ってってネトフリの「timelesz project」を強引に観せました。帰り際には「今度続き観せて」とまで言わせたぜ！

冬の間のジムに通う用にユニクロのヒートテックボアスウェットパンツを初めて買ったら、暖かくてジム以外でもずっと履いてます。スウェットパンツって女性用は私には丈が短く、男性用は横幅が大きくもこもこうしてて好きじゃなかったのですが、女性用の丈長めだともこもこせずにスッキリしてて、ちょっと外に出かけるのもダサくない・・・。ユニクロはどこまでみんなの願いを叶えるんや・・・怖いぜ・・・。
I bought Uniqlo’s Heattech fleece-lined sweatpants for the first time to wear to the gym during winter, and they’re so warm that I’ve been wearing them all the time, not just for the gym. Sweatpants for women are usually too short for me, and men’s ones are too wide and make me look bigger, which I don’t like. But these women’s sweatpants with a longer length fit nicely without looking too big. Plus, they look good enough to wear outside without feeling unfashionable. Uniqlo just keeps fulfilling everyone’s wishes… it’s almost scary!
